If you don’t know what you’re talking about, here’s a simple explanation. Minecraft is a traditional sandbox game. It’s a virtual constructor with complete freedom for the character.
It has sold four thousand copies worldwide (on PC) and then conquered other gaming platforms, Android among them. Now it’s hard to find any modern gaming device that doesn’t have a special version of Minecraft. Today we are going to take a look at Minecraft Portable Edition.
Most of the video games that are designed for smartphones or tablets can take away a person’s freedom of action, and are a standard sequence of levels. All other games are essentially casual time-killers, where the characters’ abilities are rather critically limited.
In contrast, on the tablet in Meinkraft, there is an unexplored vast world made up of blocks-cubes.
The material used for the blocks is wood, sand, stone, lava and water.
With the blocks the player can modify this world as he wishes, and the blocks can be used as a starter, as well as processed and modified materials can be obtained. And of course, the player is by no means alone in this sandbox. The game has animals that can be eaten, as well as various monsters that do not mind eating the hero. There are two standard game modes, namely “Create” and “Survive”. In “Create”, the player is given the opportunity to build, as he is not exposed to danger. And in the second one, as the name implies, the player does not live, but actually survives. On top of everything else, Portable Minecraft is playable online, so there’s a chance your smartphone or tablet will run out of power very quickly.
The main gameplay mode is survival. On the way the hero can meet a variety of dangers – this and complex tests of intelligence and skills. At the same time they work with other heroes to build structures, extract resources for their further development and create weapons, at the same time exploring the territory in the open space and defending against enemies. The mode is ideal for gamers with a high degree of intelligence and the ability to adapt to a variety of life situations.
The second option is Creation mode. Here the hero will not lack for food, and he will have no opponents. The character cannot die, and has an inexhaustible supply of building materials.
The unconventional game mode is ideal for building unusual worlds. According to many fans of more advanced computer games, the game graphics are cubist, so it is simply impossible to look at them without regret.
As for the style of graphics, it is due to the special game mechanics, so you should not take it as a minus.
And the game has no storyline or video interludes. With the buttons on the screen you can move around and look around.
As a rule, in such games the controls are rather primitive and even irritating, but this does not prevent them from being quite interesting. But overall, the tablet version of the game is much more comfortable.
