Simple, but interesting – Vampire Survivors

Right away we have to start with the fact that this game has become one of the most popular games in a fairly short period of time.   And that’s all considering that there isn’t even a storyline. As for the gameplay, even it is in its infancy. All you have to do is move the dummy around the arena, collect and swing items, with the player being attacked by monsters on all sides. But he fights back on his own, there is no need to search for anything.

And the more the game goes on, the stronger the reveal goes. And all the enemies that previously walked leisurely towards the character can now attack in different ways, move quickly or slow the character down. There are so many options, but there are also bosses that present all new surprises, and far from unpleasant ones. For example, there’s the blue death, which drowns the arena from below, the purple death, which rips up experience crystals.

But the player himself does not lag behind and is constantly evolving. With the new level there are items that tell the location of weapons and various secrets.  At the location of the secret is a coffin, where the hero can rest. If you defeat the guards, you can open a new coffin, behind which another fighter is hidden. But there are more complicated secrets. 

What else do you need to know?

Items in the game can be of the following categories:

1. Active. These are items that can damage or protect the player, freeze the enemy.
2. Passive. They improve various characteristics of the character.

The player will have weapons in his arsenal for destroying evil spirits:

1. The Bible.
2. Holy water.
3. Garlic.
4. Cross.
5. Axe.
6. Knives.
7. Whips.

You need to collect experience crystals in the game to get and improve weapons. And sometimes the mini-boss gives small chests with equipment improvements.

An additional feature is that you can combine both active and passive items, giving you new properties and abilities.

It’s also important to note that the arsenal increases with each new character. There are more and more options for improving weapons, and the hero becomes very strong. So in just half an hour you can become the ultimate destruction machine. And eventually even the death that comes for the player is not as terrifying as the second. But the third always ends the game. 

But even at this point the gameplay doesn’t end. There is gold earned during the game which can be used to buy upgrades for the hero or to increase the difficulty.  Then the strength of the monsters grows. If bored with the standard passage, you can speed up the timer.

Variability adds a lot of interest to the game. A round takes no more than 30 minutes, but you always want to start over. You can play through levels with any character, unlock new secrets and upgrade your weapon to infinity. And immediately do not realize how much time spent in the game. And after a certain period of time again drags on the feats. And so constantly.

That is, it is a dynamic and interesting, though very simple game. Everyone should see it for themselves.
